Couples Sessions
My style has been described as earthy, organic, natural, cinematic. I focus on natural moments over posed, I don't photoshop you to within an inch of your life, I want you to look like YOU. I want your photos to be an accurate representation of you and your day, and bring all the memories flooding back.
1. How would you describe your style?
Lets get on a call and discuss your day! The best thing to do, is to envisage how you see your photos being displayed, will you print an album? If so, imagine telling the story of your day from start to finish. If you simply had ceremony photos and that's it, wouldn't you miss out on all the important moments, getting ready, your mom adjusting your necklace, your dad seeing you for the first time in your wedding attire, and the same goes even if it's just the two of you! Telling the story from start to finish is what will keep your memories alive for years to come.
2. How many hours do we need?
Yes and Yes. My insurance covers me for up to 2 million.
3. Do you have insurance and can you get permits?
Living in the tropics its a distinct possibility it might rain! If we're shooting a couples session, we can try to move location, or reschedule, and the same applies to elopements, if you're having a larger wedding, we'll brave the (warm) rain and bring umbrellas and be prepared! Rain on your wedding day in Hawaii is a blessing anyway! I love a little moody wind and rain in photos.
4. What if it rains?
I like to keep you looking as natural as possible, I believe every BODY is beautiful! I will however photoshop out unsightly background objects or people.
5. Do you use photoshop?
Most of my clients come from out of town, I'd love to meet for a coffee or a Margarita beforehand time permitting, but I'm also used to seeing most of my clients on the big day! If you'd like to chat with me before your wedding face to face I'm always happy to Facetime!
7. Can we meet beforehand?
I will send you over a contract and invoice for the retainer which is $1000 to secure your date with the remainder due thirty days before.
8. How do we reserve you for our day?
I don't always use a second photographer apart from the larger and longer weddings, I'm well used to working alone and just use an extra pair of hands to capture all those smiling faces of your family members who have come from far and wide to see you get married!
