As an LGBTQ Maui beach Wedding Photographer I love it when my couples decide to do first looks. And this location at the Honolua jungle is perfect for a first look because it’s pretty secluded. When Ariella surprised Ashley they were both genuinely surprised at the others choice of wedding outfit! And both loved that Ashley had opted for a black wedding dress / pantsuit. When deciding what to wear for your LGBTQ wedding the choice of attire can sometimes be tricky, but the key is to wear what is COMFORTABLE and suits your on individuality! Don’t feel that you have to stick to tradition. There are no rules.

Ashley and Ariella brought their cake to the beach for after the ceremony and celebrated the marriage with a traditional jewish stamping on the glass (wrapped in a bag so the glass couldnt escape).

After the ceremony, we rushed over to Ironwoods beach to get a few last shots on the cliffs after dark.
