Maui Tropical Plantation Wedding

Alright, I’m just going to say it — this wedding was actual magic.

When Mike and Frinz told me they were throwing a Harry Potter-themed wedding at Maui Tropical Plantation, I was already buzzing. But this? This was something else. Think Hogwarts, but with palm trees and the occasional wild chicken wandering through. Iconic.

The vibe:

Mike and Frinz are super cool humans who just get each other. Their energy? Immaculate. Their guests? So chill. Honestly, I felt more like a friend with a camera than their photographer… which is exactly how I like it.

The details? Pure gold.

They both donned a simple look for their Maui Tropical Plantation Wedding. White shirts, Green Ti leaf Leis. There were golden snitches hidden in the florals, vintage books scattered across the tables, and yes, custom wands for the wedding party.

They said their vows under the Gazebo surrounded by close family and friends, with light rain misting through the valley… tell me that’s not some proper Forbidden Forest vibes?

The photos:

Moody skies, misty mountains, and lush tropical greens. Basically, photographer heaven. We even did a bit of wand duelling for the photos (because when else are you going to get that opportunity?).

My favourite part?

Mike and Frinz were just fully in the moment. No awkward posing, no faffing about — just two legends, completely themselves, loving life. And that’s exactly what makes the best photos.
