Maui Elopement
Hannah and Carl opted for a sunrise elopement at the popular Makena Cove in Maui. They opted for sunrise because this usually means a less crowded beach, above all you can get your ceremony out of the way and enjoy the rest of the day as newlyweds! Win win!
As a Maui Photographer I love to get non-crowded locations. It makes taking the photos so much easier, and not to mention it really makes YOU the bride and groom much more at ease. However Makena Cove can sometimes be crowded at sunset so that is why we decided on a sunrise wedding.
Sunrise or Sunset?
Hannah and Carl got married at sunrise and after that we took photos around the Wailea area. We made the most of the beautiful beaches and variety of rocks and palm trees. Makena Cove also has a rock cliff that you can climb up onto above the waves (see below)
Wailea has no end of beautiful beaches for Elopements, all with a variety of rocks and palm trees. Talk to your photographer to see which beach would suit your needs best, and which one will be the least crowded for your elopement.
