Rian and Andrew held a heartfelt LGBTQ wedding at a rental house in Maui called Aloha Aku Inn. They also run an LGBTQ club back in their hometown. So they know all about how to make a party lively! Rian and Andrew are SO in love, and it was heart melting to observe. The respect and adoration from each of them was so so sweet!
The day was about fun, friends, and family. These kinds of intimate weddings in Maui are my favorite, as they have their priorities right. Where LOVE is the focus of the day. As a Maui Wedding Photographer it makes my heart overjoyed to be part of these special moments.
How the day unfolded
We started the day with a ‘first look’ at a beach in Wailea, and then headed back to the house for the wedding ceremony. After that a feast prepared by family and friends was enjoyed by all. And we ended the evening with a pool party! SO fun!
I personally love to shoot LGBTQ weddings in Maui and Wailea. It seems like the couples that I meet often have been through many trials to get to where they are and I have nothing but admiration for their strength.
