I have photographed 100's of weddings and elopements over the past 13 years since moving here and helped many couples plan their custom elopement package. I only choose the best vendors, authentic heartfelt ministers, boutique florals, and simple and high end hair and makeup.
And YES it is possible to have a chic, intimate, authentic and classy elopement here in Hawaii, and avoid the tacky package deals that you may have seen in other images.
No cheesy cookie cutter weddings. No picking crowded beaches just because they're close by, getting married side by side with other couples and wilted leis. No ministers who have been saying the same spiel for years and are clearly tired. No florals that look like they were bought at the supermarket. We wanted and needed a feeling, a vibe, a spark while we tried to determine who we would want to do our engagement and wedding photos. Amy’s style fulfilled that. I knew I found something right away.
