As a Maui Wedding Photographer I often have couples ask, if they can take beach photos if their wedding is in one of the resorts at Ka’anapali. And sadly we have to tell them we cannot, as there is no commercial activity allowed on the beach there, however we have a solution! Cait and Cody allowed enough time in their timeline to shoot up to a beach north of where their Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort Wedding was, and we managed to spend 30 minutes getting some beautiful beach and cliff photos to add to their wedding collection.

I bet you would think a Maui Wedding Photographer’s job was easy, as Maui is so beautiful we can’t go wrong, right? And that is often the case, but we do need to allocate enough time to go and seek out those beautiful spots away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist centers.

This wedding was a beautiful day at The Outrigger Ka’anapali Beach Resort.
