Tiffany & Ian’s Maui Elopement — A Subtle Nod to Princess Mononoke

Tiffany and Ian didn’t want a traditional wedding and elopement was much more their style. No venue, no timelines, no fuss. Just the two of them, deep in nature, where the wild parts of Maui could hold space for something quiet, intentional, and completely their own.

They chose a jungle setting to start with — with its complete peace and quiet could set the tone. The colour blue was woven into the details. A beautiful bouquet by Petaloom floral was an added touch.

Their inspiration was Princess Mononoke. Respect for the land without needing to tame it.

We hiked through jungle trails and visited a windswept cliffside. No props just rock, sky, ocean—and the two of them, side by side, soaking it all in. The kind of view that makes you stop in your tracks.

What stood out most was how present they were. No rush. No distractions. Just full attention on each other, and the space around them. That kind of grounded energy makes for the best photos—where nothing feels forced and everything just is.

If you’re thinking of eloping and want something simple, soulful, and real— reach out to me here.

We planned this whole elopement for them, from the florals, the minister, hair and makeup, to location scouting, if this is something you’d like us to do, let’s chat!
