Sam and Adam flew to Maui for their Anniversary and wanted to take waterfall photos while here. Where better on the planet to take Waterfall photos than Maui? We have an abundance of beautiful landscapes here for anniversary photos. What I love about this location is the variety, which is essential for variety in any photoshoots! Roots, and fallen trees, bamboo and tropical plants make for really varied backgrounds. In addition, there’s some really cool stops on your way to the Road to Hana and all the waterfalls. My favorite one is Paia town. Colorful shops and great restaurants make it a really fun place to stop and great as a before, or after when you’re waterfall-chasing.

Something to remember whenever you’re out visiting waterfalls on Maui, is don’t forget the bug spray! I use citronella oil as a natural alternative. The mosquitos out here can be pretty giant and you don’t want big bites ruining your photos.

The second thing to remember is it’s best to get to the waterfalls as early as possible before the crowds!

And thirdly, don’t forget your water, and bathing suits!
