Matt and Catt really wanted their Hawaii Elopement Photographer to capture the most intimate moments between themselves and their families. The most important thing to them, was photographing emotion And not the way they look or the posing. Their good friend officiated the wedding with a pagan / spiritual ceremony that was absolutely beautiful.
The day was windy and had light rain, but these guys were troopers and because they stuck it out, they were blessed with a beautiful rainbow!
I loved Matt and Catt’s goofy ideas for photos, and their jokes with family and friends, it made for a super fun day and we were laughing from start to finish.
The reception
After that they went to Lahaina for brunch at the famous Aloha Mixed Plate. Their friends and family joined them for a mixed plate lunch, which is a must-try if you’re visiting Hawaii.
They even treated me (the Hawaii Elopement Photographer) to a meal here, I LOVE it when my couples feed me! Fed photographer = happy photographer. 🙂
