Shelby and David live in Maui so they wanted their boho wedding in Hawaii to be something different than the norm.

Beach weddings are popular here in Hawaii but we also have jungles. Not many people know we have deciduous forests higher up in the mountains where this wedding took place too.

No one wants rain on their wedding day. But the sound of soft drips in the trees surrounded Shelby and David during their wedding ceremony. I think it actually made their wedding picnic all the more magical.

Maui Luxe Picnics created a magical boho wedding scene. I was in awe at the hanging lights in the trees, soft cushions and an amazing picnic spread.

The couple’s good friend officiated the wedding. I took photos and enjoyed the tranquil scene after the ceremony.
